Distant Past

Do you think of me when you're alone at night,
Wishing there was some way to make it right?
Do you remember the things we said,
Or wonder where they might have lead?
Do you ever feel me talking to you,
Asking for one more day with you?
Do you wish you were here still,
Listening to the laugh you loved to hear?
Do you ever hear a song,
That reminds you of what we had for so long?
Do you ever wonder if you were wrong,
That we might really belong?
Do you ever miss the love we shared?
Or all the times we said we cared?
Or am I just the distant past,
Of something that would never last?

In Vain

In Vain

I wait in vain,
To hear you call my name.
To hear you say you were wrong,
To be gone for so long.
That the distances was tearing you apart,
You're sorry you broke my heart.
That I'm you're one and only,
Without me, Your nights were cold and lonely.
I hope you'll come back around,
When you're finally ready to settle down.
What will you do, if it's too late for me and you?
Will you be willing to fight for me?
Or will you turn around and leave?
So I sit in vain to see,
If you'll ever come back to me.
